P-51 Slot Roll

I was mesmerized by the precision exhibited by the Horsemen in the slot roll. I believe I saw their 2-ship show in Lakeland '07 & '08. I can appreciate how difficult it is to stay in position and make this look good. Probably my favorite air show "moment" of the past several years.

That's a neat photo. The digital cameras do funny things sometimes.

You can really feel Eddie in the slot. All through the roll, I'd fly pushing forward on the stick. Very weird science, caused by the bow wake of the slot bird.

Ken, that's one of the coolest photos I've ever seen!

Watching the Horsemen do their thing is nothing short of mesmerizing. They are the ultimate in graceful flying!
