According to AEROFILES, there were at least three INTERNATIONAL AIRPLANE CO's The closest to your info would be one that moved from Santa Monica Ca. (where they built one of the DOLE Racers) to Cincinnatti in 1929 and was aquired by CROSLEY MOTORS. Built the 'DUCKLING' that must have scared the engineers @ REPUBLIC so much they used the general design for the RC-3 SEABEE, but the DUCKLING was a cooler looking design and the SEABEE looks like the crate a DUCKLING was sent in.

Owens was a modified Cox-Klemin CK2B registration was X 1788, a conversion of a surplus STANDARD J-1 trainer using a 160 H.P. Mercedes. Sent to Cook Field but never completely evaluated by the Army.
