Invaders from the North?

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but I keep seeing bits and pieces about numbers of ex-fire bomber A-26s stashed up north, either rotting away, or awaiting a rich buyer. Is this just a myth, or is there some truth to it?

Airspray had 7 Invaders for sale at one time, I don't know how many they have left. Here is a link to a .pdf of the ones they had for sale...
