This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Oh my, our Tuskegee P-51 project has been accepted for the Pepsi Refresh project! This first step includes building the rudder, which we plan to acquire a kit for from Tri-State. Please follow the link below and vote for us, and please do so each day as you are allowed one vote every 24 hrs. Thank you so much, invite your friends as well!

Sorry to bump and be annoying (lolz), but this means a lot to me! We're ranked #35 and we need to be in the top 15, can y'all help a friend out? Thanks! You can vote once every day...

A vote from Canada...pleased (and slightly surprised) this one can be voted on by non-US residents (especially given the strong ties between HAG/Geneseo and the Canadian warbird community). I'll try voting as "daily" as possible if I can...

Haha, thank you very much good sir!
Also, I'm considering starting one generic "Lucy Gal" progress thread in the Retroaviation Maintenance thread. Would anyone be interested in that?

Just voted again...and yes, please do keep a thread running on the project as it takes shape...it sounds as though HAG intends to carry through with the '51 irrespective of the Pepsi project result...cool. Maybe keep a thread going in the main Hangar too, with pix and more basic info, since not everybody regularly checks in in the maintenance area.
Cheers

Remember that time we all voted over and over for that Confederate Air Force "don't mess with Texas" commercial? What ever came of that, maybe a 30 second spot on some local news in Texas? I figure if we all vote like hell for this thing the reward is seeing another Mustang. Sounds like it's worth a couple clicks to me.
