Funny "ahh SH*T!" moments in the Warbird world

A few weeks ago while going through some of my spares, I noticed something rather "amiss" about this C-7A door..
That's an Army paint job from the early 90's, and "EIXT RELEASE" is NOT a decal, it's in the paint! "Ahh SH*T!"
Anyone else have any funny stories??

In another WIX thread (which I won't specifically name!), I noticed some painted stenciling on an aircraft door that reads, "EMERGENCY RELEASE HANDEL". Looks to be original military, too!

Beside the spelling, if you are on the outside wouldn't you be "entering"?
