Hey Doug,
Awesome the Corsair engine finally showed up. What's the story on the Yak in the background?
Thanks,
Shane

It is in line for some restoration work after we finish the P40, FG1D, and a couple of more projects. It has some fuel leaks and we want to do a few mods in the cockpit

Doug, great to hear that she's got an engine again. Can't wait to see it mounted and her cowled up again. Been too long with her sitting like that in various parts of the hangar.

Chappie - that is the Cavanaugh Flight Museum FG-1C Corsair. More info here -
http://www.cavanaughflightmuseum.com/Corsair.htmHey Doug, were any aircraft actually designated FG-1C or were they all delivered as Corsair IV's? I've only ever heard of the F4U-1C and the Corsair IV.
