Instead of trying to keep up with his latest acquisitions, I guess I should ask, what doesn't he have besides the B-17, B-24 & B-29?

Bombers? Really? News to me. Which airframes?
As for the single engines, a good list can be found here...
Aerial Visuals - Location Dossier - The Rod Lewis Collection - 20 airframesI could really use some help with placing the marker on the map. Where in San Antonio is the collection based?

Very cool collection and website but I have to laugh that some of the photos have canopy covers on the aircraft. Sorry but I find that a bit funny.

I did not know he had acquired a Wildcat. What is the Bu # of this Grumman bird? I wonder if a museum is in the works for his collection?

It's Bu No 12260, one of the two Lake Michigan recoveries from the 90's that were awarded to A&T and sold through Courtesy. 12260 is the one that Dick Hansen and Jim Porter had restored.

Nice aeroplanes. Not too keen on the 'artwork' though.

Curious about the website claim that they have the only flyable Wildcat.....are they referring to the only flyable Grumman built one? I know of at least one or two (if not more) GM made Wildcats out there that are flyable.

As far as I know it's the only Grumman built -3 that's flyable. I believe all other Wildcats still flying are GM built.

The other flyable Grumman-built one went to the Ford Island Museum and is now grounded.

What a collection, especially the Wildcat. Given it was recovered from Lake Michigan I'm surprised the Navy hasn't sued everyone who's touched the airplane since.

Chappie, the NMNA actually sold the Wildcat, along with the one on Ford Island. I think there were 4 offered. It was an interesting process.

I wonder what manufacturer he will focus on next, now that he's cornered the market in Grummans
