Wow, what a time what a time.....even in the mist of a World War, it seems that even with bombs and airplanes falling from the sky, rationing, blackouts, and visiting Yanks, that things were much simpler then. Thanks for providing a link with these few photos...awesome

Thanks... I suspect a couple of the top few were colourized, but the Spit and the chap in the park look period correct.

Tonight I will smoke a 1992 Rocky Patel Churchill and raise an Armagnac to Winston and the Empire.
