Here's my assessment of the event and a few pictures.
Last week-end was held at the Gatineau airport an airshow organized by Vintage Wings of Canada in association with the EAA. From four events per summer, the foundation is now down to only one, but it's quite the day as it's also a practice for the following day's Battle of Britain ceremony at the Canadian Air and Space Museum.
I flew the Harvard up this year, as the theme was "Yellow Wings" in remembrance of the BCATP, but sadly, only 4 Harvards took to the skies during the show, with no supporting cast of Cornells, Tiger Moths and Finches.

Ollie The Yellow Wings flew on the Friday night before the show with a beautiful four ship formation flyby consisting of the Harvard, Finch, Stearman, Cornell. They did a great job of keeping everything in formation. Here's a video of the Saturday event, the eight plane formation of the Snowbirds is evident.
