We Will Be Visiting This Week

Sun Sep 18, 2011 2:43 pm

Plan to visit the air museum at Warner Robins tomorrow. :) Then hope to go to
the NMUSAF next weekend. :D In between will visit the USAF Enlisted Museum at
Gunter in Montgomery, AL. They have an excellent exhibit of uniforms and examples of jobs the
USAF enlisted have done from flight crew on. My interest is an HH-43 memorial outside
in front of the building saluting the Pedro Rescue crew members. There is a good air park
on Maxwell AFB which is in Montgomery also. May have some pics when get back.

Neil Mac,

Not sure when your last viisit was to the NMUSAF ... Just in case your not to familiar ... we have a C-119 outside in the Air Park. However it was modified to catch a space capsule.

Inside the South East Asia Gallery we have on display an HH43B, O2, A37 and a U3. If by chance your in the museum on Friday the 23rd, I'll be volunteering in the SEA/Korea galleries located in the same section.

I'm easy to find in that my avatar is a scan of an original patch I wore many years ago and wear it on my blazer pocket.

Enjoy your visit.
