Size for two data plates

Hello
I need to find the exact size of each data plate which was on the top of the hydraulic panel in a C-47.
The douglas data plate and USAAF data plate.
Do you know also is there is some one who make repros of these data plates? (with no marking on them)

Do you have any better photos of them? If so, I can have them made by an acid etcher/engraver. For one-time or personal use, not for resale.

The 'Air Corps' dataplate is available from Lance Aircraft. No idea on the Douglas one though.

The C47A data plate that I have is 85mm square. It is made of phenolic sheet - not etched alloy.

@tulsaboy : it's for a personnal use.. exactly to put them in The SNAFU Special because the data plate which is actually inside was probably made when the plane was in French Air Force.
@rcaf_100 : Thanks, I sent them an email.. Will wait the answer to know if they agree to sell and ship the data plate to France.
@coldkiwi1 : The left plate is 85mm square? do you have a picture of yours? It was told to me that the US Air Force plate was 84mm high and 63mm width.. I thought that Douglas data plate was bigger (around 100mm square)

Patrick- the Douglas one was a square piece of aluminum that was acid etched, and then hand stamped with the serial number etc. If you are serious about getting that one done, PM me and I'll get you a price. The ones I've had done before are pretty nice.

The plate is definitely 85mm square and is printed on phenolic . I got it from the guy who scrapped the aircraft.

Coldkiwi1- interesting. The earlier Douglas plates I have or have seen are aluminum. The one on the restored Delta DC-3, for instance, has a gorgeous aluminum one. Is it possible that different plants at various points during the war did them differently? Would be great if anyone else here with access to C-47 plates could chime in. I believe our friend here on this thread is specifically looking for one from the Long Beach plant.
