Paine Field Vintage Weekend

Sun Sep 04, 2011 1:21 am

Shot some photos at Paine Field today. Amazingly, they manage to out do themselves every year! The gorgeous weather didn't hurt! Enjoy.

I was working the ropeline about 10 feet from that group of disabled ladies so you must have been standing right behind me. For the absolute last time, my pile of FOD/POS FUJI FINEPIX S 1000 disappointed me to the point that after I downloaded the few usable pictures I got out what I thought I'd shot, I stripped the batteries out of it and it and the program disc went into a box out in the storage shed last night. What an expensive disappointment-put it last on your potential choices for your next camera! It's back to my little CANON SX120.   :butthead: :vom:

Me and mah boy enjoyed it very much. Sure would have liked to have seen the program tightened up a bit, though. Finally had to leave before Grumpy and the Bearcat were able to go up...but hey, at least we were there for the 45 minutes it too the two SeeBee's put on their performance of two low-speed passes....yeah, that was worth the trade off.

That's John Sessions' (owner of HFF) B-25D 'GRUMPY'. Coming up in a few weeks for I believe on the last 'Fly Day' of the season GRUMPY will fly along with FHC's ( P. Allens) new 'BUSTER' B-25J
