This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Hmmm. I've always wanted to see a museum based around a single type of warbird.
For instance:
F4U-1
F4U-1D (FG-1D)
F4U-4
F4U-5NL
F4U-7
F2G-1
I'd also like to see one for the P-51 variants, as well as P-47, Spitfire (big museum!), or P-40.
I'd REALLY like to see a Night Fighter museum with night fighting variants of the various WWII Allied planes (P-61, F6F, P-38M, F4U-2, F4U-5N). I've always wondered why Doug Champlin didn't (previously) take advantage of the history of his P-38M and restore it as such. The overall black & red P-38 was a real standout amongst the various Lightning configurations. It's a shame he separated the unique canopy, etc from the rest of the plane. Maybe MOF in Seattle will look into this one day.

True, but you didn't have an attack or EW catagory, If I had my own museum I'd have a EP-3 and and EA-3 in the mix. And an A-10 just cuz I like them.
