MSP museum new Bird?

I had a quick turn through MSP yesterday and looking at the Museum across the field, it looks like maybe they got a new bird. Anyone in the area associated with the Air Guard Museum who can comment? Looked like an F-102 with Drone colors and missing the nose cone. I was sitting in the left seat, looking out the right window, so no pic available.

I'm not associated with the museum, but they do list an F-102 in inventory. They are not open on the weekends anymore, appointment only...

Thanks Bryan, but I should have stated that I had already looked at their site and saw no news!

It was parked outside the fence not far from the KC-97 with the nose pointed northwest. I was looking through the ripples of a C-130 exhaust so.... I am guessing they got an old Tyndall bird or maybe one from the DM... If I make it through MSP in the next few weeks, I will try to get a pic.

I'd like to see them get a 102. They had them at Duluth in the 60s to early 70s when the active duty 11th/87 FIS had 106s across the ramp.Are there amny 102s available?
I'd also like to see Dyess get one to help complete its Century Series collection..(they need a 106 too). It would be nice to paint it in Texas ANG markings.

There has to be someone in the MSP area who is on here who knows what this new bird is....

I have a buddy who is overnighting there on the 11th...I will try to get him to take a pic on taxi in or out....

I spent an awful lot of time sanding the top left wing of a 102 at the Air Guard museum, but that was a long time ago, mid 90s or so. It was nicely redone. Could be there is another one or a 106? Haven't been out there in a long time.

Staff Sgt. Scott Hanson 133rd Maintenance Squadron sheet metal shop removes a corroded section of aircraft skin from an F-102 Delta Dagger. The Airmen of the sheet metal shop are conducting training by restoring an F-102 prior to the 133rd Air Expo 16 July, 2011. The primary mission of the 133rd MXS sheet metal shop ensures the structural integrity of airframes by checking and replacing corroded sections of airframes. The Airmen of the sheet metal shop are conducting training during a drill weekend by replacing sections of an F-102 Delta Dagger preparing the aircraft for later addition to the Air Museum on base. What's the status of the Deuces the Turks had and pushed off into the weeds? (aloong with lots of other stuff like straight winged F-84's) as newer MAP equipment was sent to them?
