The Curtiss A-1 replica built by the Curtis Museum to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Naval Aviation crashed last night into a lake near hammonsport, the pilot is okay.
The plane received substancial damage and was recovered.

Very glad to hear that the pilot is ok. It's good to know the aircraft didn't suffer too badly either. Hope both pilot and plane are back in the air again sometime soon!
