I read over on Airshowbuzz that the folks who organize Thunder Over Michigan are behind it. For the life of me, I can't find the thread back though.

You are correct Matt, the fellow who is the reenactor coordinator for ToM is the same one for ToU.. I am doing more checking.

I hope the show does well, BUT...March in Utah? The weather will be about 30 degrees colder than what I'm happy with. Sorry...won't be there.

Kevin Walsh and Mike Luther from ToM are two of the people involved inputting ToU together. I am not from that part of the country, but with it being down on the Arizona border, I think that part of Utah may be warmer in March than some people expect.

Average temp in the daytime is high 60's and lows are high 30's at night. Kinda brisk for us Arizonans BUT WE WILL GO!

I have hotel reservations already - but am somewhat dreading it. When the new airport had its open house it took more than an hour to get to the ceremonies and that was small potatoes!! Saint George is a great place but the roads and layout of the city have been dictated by overzealous developers; read this as "hard to get around on a good day".

Great Tom, THAT'S what I need to hear. HOPEFULLY after an 7 ot 8 hour drive it will be at least a good time there. Besides, heck Tome we can talk Wendover stuff!

Seems to me those are really high prices. If we could get half that amount around here I would be esstatic. Hard to compete with the free Military shows.

I am not sure about the tickets - $15 is about right for almost any out of state civilian show. But having said that, it will be interesting to see how Utahans react to it (we are famously cheap) Plus you will pay for parking - so tack $5 on to the total price. should be interesting!

Probably about right for the peanut gallery, but to cross the Red Velvet ropes and white table cloths seems real pricey!
