I'm really liking that Gloss blue FA-18!!
Sad to see that -221 going back to nature, do you have it's N number? We can find out when it was delivered and to who (if not PAA originally)

Did you get any pictures of the WACO biplane N369AS? That was the plane I flew in on Friday and we had on display. We let people sit in it and we had literally a couple thousand people get their picture taken in it.

N385PA for the 727
I did get a shot of the Waco. It was early Saturday morning before the crew go set up. Where you there during the day? If so I would have liked to have gotten the chance to say hello in person.

I went Sunday with better weather but you are shooting into the sun for most of the day. An OK show not great as Tim said, exactly one warbird Sunday. Lots of jet noise though, CoNA Hornet passes, Legacy flight, VFA-106 Hornet passes, two F-15 demos (lost a small panel) and the T-Birds.
There were seven 3-holers (727s) being parted out. N385PA was flying in 1991 but has been sitting at Smyrna since at least 2001.

N385PA l/n 813 s/n 20393, 727-227 originally BRANIFF (another sad story) originally N402BN then N 206US then N385PA built 1970. Currently owned by a Red Apple Corp in Deleware.

The NORTHWEST 200 also shown, N 272US is l/n 759, msn 20294 727-251 built 1969 and was a NWA (not the old rap group) from day one also owned by Red Apple Corp. Sad to see as in the day @ Renton we busted our fannys to deliver a defect free exterior on polished airplanes, no scratches, dents, scrapes or dings and now it looks like a galvanized garbage can because, now 'it's just an old airplane'
