Galveston Gal Heritage

Mon Apr 18, 2011 7:25 am

A couple of shots from one of Galveston Gal's Heritage flights this past weekend at NAS Ft. Worth. Gumby is driving her, Rifle is flying the A-10, and that's an ACC 1 star general in the back seat of the Mustang.

A civilian show wouldn't allow the passenger in the Mustang, although they used to.

No show supervised by the FAA will allow a passenger. The General is in charge of the Heritage program, and as such qualifies as a 'named crewmember'.

Yes, the USAF & FAA have an agreement that allows this to happen.
