AVGAS prices in Germany are at the moment reported to have reached € 2,90 per litre (!) in some places, which is equal to about 15 USD per US gallon

How ironic! For such high cost of fuel, the influx (outflux?) of warbirds is continuing to non-US destinations.
A 'local' warbird broker has so far sold almost 20 warbirds overseas this year. And this is only April. I understand it beats all his records for overseas sales.

we're amazed here as our $ is higher than US$......
good for buying but not exporting..
