DHC Caribou

Mon Jun 20, 2005 10:09 pm

Does any one know anything about a Caribou that cleared customs at BIA headed for NJ? I think it was last monday. It had just been purhcase in Europe by an American according to the ferry pilot. unfortunately I was rudely interupted by the customs agent before I could get the rest of the story. Any thoughts, anyone?!

Are you sure it was heading for NJ? Fact is, PK-YRO transited Europe from NJ last week on her way to Indonesia. However no Europeans involved in this purchase afaik.

It could well be, as I said, we were interrupted by the Boys From Homeland Security/Customs(Clearing customs to Leave the USA?!) and I may have misunderstood  . I'm not sure of the registry-I haven't deveoped the film yet  .

A company in Cape May, NJ repairs/re-engineers Caribou.
Saw about a dozen on the ramp last Tuesday. Half were in
what looked like desert camo.
