Looking into the Soviet capsule on the main floor @ COSMOSPHERE, my first impression was 'this thing is just a hollow cannon ball' Then you find yourself trying to figure out how 3 adults can squeeze themselves in there wearing space suits and all the other gear 'cause it's about 5 feet inside diameter with teeny 'couches' to lay on. Really big 'stones'.

The Cosmosphere, is that the one in Kansas? I need to get out there one day. Do they have Gus Grissom's space capsule that sunk in the Atlantic and many,many years later was recovered?

Yes it is, Take an extra SD card for your camera and lots of spare batteries. They've got 'stuff' from the week before year one. I'd like to go back and spend the whole day there, when I went it was with a group of guys I worked with and they had 26 other places they wanted to visit-it's worth an entire day!!. You can also admire the biggest danged grain silos I've ever seen, drive past the Kansas State Pen, and on the outskirts is a salt mine that stores all sorts of very rare and important items including master prints of most theatrical films.

With all that time you should have gone south of town to the former Hutchinson Naval Air Station!

Seriously, the Cosmosphere is a great place to spend a day. We need to make another trip up there.
