I look for the pics showing gun bays of early P-40. The gun mounts, ammo boxes, the looks of the bays. Wings and fuselage.
I'd be gratful for the photographs and for the info where to find them.

The first two photos were sent to me some years back by the NMUSAF from their copy of 01-25CE-2 Handbook of Service Instructions Model P-40B and P-40C Pursuit Airplanes, 25 October 1941
As for the wing gun bays I been looking for a photo of the inside setup for years... the best I have is photo 3

I am considering falling in love with You

.
BTW, do Yoy have pictures of the wheel wells of the IIWW period? All I have found is some LIFE shots and I wonder about configuration of the canvas (leather?) covers in the wells. The restored crafts seem to differ from what LIFE pctures suggest.

I will take a look through my longnose P40 photo stash
FYI
Search google life with both "P40" and "Curtis Wright" (one "s") along with "Curtiss Wright" (two "s")
Also search
http://www.criticalpast.com/ and
http://www.britishpathe.com/ newsreel film archive (also search "Tomahawk")
Their goldmines of detail shots and have still frames from the films you can save if you do not mind a water mark
Im not sure if this would be any help for what your doing but I did a write up for modeler some years back... is out of date but does have a lot of detail notes
