My Focke-Wulf FWP.149D in her new clothes. Used as a hack with Luftwaffe JG-71 "Richtofen" by Eric Hartmann

Holy crap... that is utterly astounding, easily one of the best schemes I've seen on a private plane, anywhere.

What is real when we know that there is no spoon?

The scheme came from a German publication.

As you know Hartmann used the 'Tulip' emblem on his aircraft in WW2. When he took command of JG71 post war he introduced the "tulip" to his steeds....Canadair Sabres. Most Luftwaffe groups operated "Piggies" as communications hacks during that period. It still features from time to time on their F-4's

So just to clarify did Hartmann use your actual aircraft?
