Bell P39Q-15 44-2911 now in Buffalo - ARTICLE

Mon Jan 31, 2011 5:51 am

Here is another one of my articles. As the author I have the copyright. Challenge were just the publisher.

The P39 is now home.

Going to Niagara Aerospace Museum in Buffalo. Their facility is the very same building that the aircraft was first built in 1943! Watch this space for exciting details and news on when and how this aircraft will be 'going back home' to become the center-piece at their museum on public display.

Someone has done a great model as well.

Great history - enjoy.

As usual, another fantastic article.

Mark has written several lengthy articles on the aircraft we brought out of Russia.

Another great article Mark. I saw an update on this one being restored in Buffalo a few months back.

Thanks for sharing them. It is fascinating that these aircraft were hidden for so long.
