Fri Jan 21, 2011 2:59 pm

For absolutely no particular reason, how about a few older P-51 shots for your weekend viewing pleasure?

Wow, a whole batch of Mustangs without invasion stripes! Yep, those were the days. . .

Those are great!

Sad too, Bill Clark's Dolly, Harry Tope's Death Rattler which were both lost in accidents...

And those memories...late Bob Byrne's Rascal (remember as a younger fellow sitting in that chatting with him), Gary MCCann's Blackie, Dennis Bradleys Old Boy behind it.

I have several shots of Mustangs at the Hamilton airshow from years gone by that I have been meaning to scan......

A fairly neat way of incorporating 'occupation stripes' into the paint scheme on Rascal!

Thank you for sharing these photos!

"Death Rattler" in the photo was still owned by Lynn Florey at that time.

N28700 is amazingly beautiful, I just love the civil Mustangs in elegant "executive" scheme.

I really like C-FFUZ the Black & White Mustang.
Brings back a lot of memories of the real Airshow days.

Anyone with more picture of this bird - please post em!
