P-40 series construction sequence numbers?

Mon Nov 22, 2010 6:22 am

Hello.. does anyone out there know of a P-40 customer sequence number (I have heard that is the number stamped into all the major airframe assembly plates) to US serial number correlation list?

Regards
Jason

There are a few mappings hanging around, but it is an in-exact science, technically you can extroplate the C/N from the Serial, and it works for most cases, but not alll.. For instance if the fuselage damaged in construction.. Do you have an ID you want to check e.g.

c/n from c/n to Serial from Serial to Type Qty
