Kelly AFB, 1955 Aerial from Historic Aerials

These are sitting out in the middle of the Airfield. C-119's?

Also lots of B-29's, B-36's, B-47s, tons of smaller fighters/trainers and what looks like the XC-99 off by itself.

I believe they are C-82s, at least the cockpit area appears to be more likely C-82 than C-119. Also it looks like C-45s parked to the North of them. Too bad the small stuff does not show up as well. Thanks for posting the link! Cool photos.

True could be C-82's. On the site, the photo of Kelly AFB 1955, it looks like the XC-99 on the north side of the field as well. Much fatter than the B-36.

Check out Tucson AZ., 1958, I saw B-25s, B-36s, B-29/50s, C-47s, T-6s, C-119/82s, F-86s?, B-17s, C-54s, B-47s.......
