Turrent glass

[Versatile]

Don't know if this will help anyone needing turrent glass. Saw a "This Old House Segement". Show was in Md I think. Several of these unique houses used WWII turrent glass in the skylights. I don't know what type ac the glass came from. Someone poking around migt find something usefull there imo.

As someone who loves architecture, I was just really excited to see the different houses in the link you posted. Thanks for sharing! And don't let the man get you down. We just recently here locally had a reporter interviewing two candidates for statewide office on his show, and instead of asking them essential public policy questions, he handed them each a handful of posts from their Facebook pages that were full of spelling and grammatical mistakes and asked them to, on camera, correct the mistakes and explain how those posts got onto their sites. Some people have little better to do with their time...

I, for one, am in no position to throw stones. My spelling can be atrocious!

They must have used astrodomes. I've seen larger versions at places like McDonald's in their kiddie play area. Not sure how they are optically or if the architectural places can do that depth of draw, but many turrets actually have multiple parts glued together where the guns come out. I think Aero Trader makes B-25 turret glass and can probably supply other transparencies as well.

Really? People took this seriously? Really?

That is the problem with the internet - we are unable to see the twinkle in someone's eye, or the smirk on their face when they are saying something in "jest". Too often, it comes off other than it was intended.
