Curtis Electric Propeller Blades

Hello All.

I have two Curtis Electric hollow steel propeller blades that I am trying to Identify and figure out what they are off of. It is very hard to read the model numbers off of the prop shank. The blades measure from the bottom of the shank to the tip 7' 1/4", with a cord of 13" and a shank diameter of 5" that is threaded on the outside and inside. This would have been at least a 15' diameter propeller. I thought originally the Martin Mars but they are a different type of hub.

Information on Propellers can be found in the Propeller Type Certficate Data Sheets on the FAA website. Between what you can read for numbers on your blades and information contained on the Data Sheets you may be able to figure out what you have.

You might also call WestPac. They have a prop shop on sight that deals with all kinds of warbird props. They might even be interested in buying them.
