Info needed on Corsair Seat

I'm trying to track down some history and I need to know exactly what a Corsair seat would look like.
Somebody near by claims they have a Corsair seat and that it came out of a bird scrapped locally in the 1940's. He's not selling it, but wants to know about it.
Were they custom built for the Corsair or a standard style used by several types of aircraft?
Anybody have a nice photo of what one looks like out of the aircraft?
Also, would there be any serial numbers on it that might identify that it came from a particular Corsair?

I'd like some ammunition before I actually try to go and see it in person.

Probably no numbers to match it to any specific airframe unless someone hand marked it.
Seat is pretty specific to the model of Corsair.
FG-1D and F4U-1 had a seat mounted to a frame. The frame is removable.
F4U-4 has a seat that consists of a seat pan and the rear upright is a steel plate that folds down.
-5 and later has an electrically operated seat IIRC.
