A British Test Pilot Legend Speaks

Wed Sep 29, 2010 2:28 pm

Capt Eric 'Winkle' Brown speaks on youtube - and he's still on the lecture circuit in his '90s! Included in this 2 part interview are his memories of flight testing the HE162, and the Horten IX which was test flown by an American pilot.

When he unfolds his pilots license, does it resemble a 'short snorter?' because of everything he's flown?

He is THE MAN! You name it, he's flown it.
I can recommend his books
Wings of the Weird and Wonderful Vol 1 and 2.
