I came across two large rolls of microfilm (26 rolls) covering the Northwest Airlines Modification Center modification of the B-24 to photo recon ship. I bought them about 6 years ago as they were labeled AT-6 drawings.
Finally found the index roll today and was surprised to find that all but one drawing covered the B-25J, C-109, F-7A & B and H2X modifications to the Liberator.
Unknown to me but found a link.

I used to work in the hangars where the mods took place back in the 70s. 3M company owned one hangar and the FBO I worked at owned the other. I have two photos from the war years that show the B-24s inthe hangars.

A B 24 as a photo recon ship? Did it include the developing lab?

Any information on B-17 H2X radar mods? We need more information for Chuckie, she was equipped in those hangars with the H2X.

CrewDawg,
I do remember seeing some drawings for the H2X mod in the index. Unfortunately, I don't have any way to scan the microfilm.

Hi Patrick
Have you had an opportunity to further review the rolls of microfilm?
I have an interest in some North American Aviation Dallas built B-24J's sent to North West Airlines St.Paul Modification Center in 1945. It was St. Paul's only Lend Lease project and referred to as the "Australian" project. Modifications included the SCR-717C radar antenna forward of the bomb-bay and relocating the navigator on the flight deck.
Are you able provide any more identification details and/or their source etc?
Any thoughts most welcome.
thanks

The page linked in the first post does mention "A work table and racks for camera magazines and film rolls in the aft corners of the bay"!
Any chance of seeing some of the drawings that show the size and location of the camera windows? Model makers (plastic and digital) would appreciate it.
