2010 Millville NJ Warbird Gathering/Fly-in Sat 9/25/10

Is anyone here involved with the 2010 Millville warbird gathering/fly-in set for September 25th?

There is just the flyer posted on the website. I imagine this will be centered around the Duffy collection. But I am looking for some more info as what type of flying activity is planned if any?

I am in charge of parking the Warbirds for this event. There are no "official" plans to have any flying at the event and there is no waiver filed. However, that does not mean that there won't be some impromptu flying going on. Larry Kelley's B-25 "Panchito" will be flying rides as will a red Waco Bi-plane. Tom Duffy may decide to fly one or more of his collection as well

Including the aircraft in Tom's collection we plan to have about 40 Warbirds at the event. There is also an EAA chapter fly in so we may also get some nice antique and classic aircraft to join the event as well.

Gates open at 10:00AM and the static display goes until 4:00PM.

Hope to see you there.

P. S. - Plans are already underway for a BIG Airshow at Millville on Memorial Day weekend in 2011 featuring the Blue Angels and other big name acts.

Teaser - Oh, and maybe even a large, 4 round engined bomber aircraft. Stay tuned!!!
