What's up with them restoring it into Movie Markings? Russian or US?

The talk at one time was to paint it in the Russian markings from the movie Jet Pilot. Now there are questions as to whether or not it was even in the movie.

That would be a different paint scheme for a historic aircraft!

This is how it looked a couple of weeks agao. Don't let the appearance fool you, it is actually a good airframe. James tells me that the interior is fairly intact.

When the plane was donated to us a couple of years ago we were told that it had been used in Jet Pilot. Since then we've done more research and while it was owned by a movie studio it probably was not in that particular movie. We've decided to go ahead with displaying it in the markings of the "Yak-12s" from Jet Pilot since we already have two T-33s on display in their US military markings and the theme of the building is aviation in popular culture.
