Not to knock it because it looks great, but back during WWII would she have shined so beautifully?

That's as close as I could find for a period truck... and I shopped out the forklift and Cessna 650...
Some times they were shiny...but yeah I didn't take time to take the shine off...

Well, it could be the case of a highly motivated Flight Engineer that has “highly shined” his VIP configured Transport Medium Bomber. I imagine that 40-2168 (Hap Arnolds VIP transport) was shining brightly in its day.
