PSP/Marston Mat/M8 Landing Mat...

Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:51 am

Anyone know where I could obtain some Pierced Steel Plank runway matting?

I'm in NJ, and I'm in need of like 4 or 5 lengths. There's got to be some around...

Anyone?

If you go to the G503 forum www.g503.com/forums there have been several threads there over time. If you search for "Marston" on the Gee you will find several threads about it.

I was hoping to obtain it a little closer to NJ. This stuff is lying all around the country, the shipping from Calumet is very expensive, and for the project I had in mind, I would just as soon use 2 x 6's.

Someone has to know where a few pieces are lying around, no?

There's a surplus store here with about a dozen good pieces, but you probably don't want to pay shipping from Albuquerque, NM.

I bid on some at an auction a while ago, but it went for big bucks. Apparently, farmers and ranchers have lots of uses for it.
