In the News- The Tulsamerican- B-24J-DT-10

Wed Aug 11, 2010 3:34 pm

So many times we here on WIX, who often characterize ourselves as knowing so much more about warbirds than the average person, love to harshly critique reporters who periodically care to share our passion with the general public. Though it is easy (and sometimes fun) to throw stones, it is rare that we stop and say thank you to a reporter who works hard to get things right. This morning, a story about The Tulsamerican ran on the front page of the Tulsa World. The story and its photos took up over half of the front page, in full color. Manny Gamallo worked hard to tell a great story, and should be commended for his efforts. The link to the online version is below. Thank you, Manny, for your work and for telling a neat story about the Greatest Generation.
