New Hawker Hind website

I have finally finished my hawker hind website, please have a look and let me know what you think!

Four Hawker biplanes are currently airworthy. All but one of those aircraft has been restored by Guy Black and his team at Retrotec Ltd the other the Hawker Demon was completed by Skysport engineering.

What about Shuttleworth's Hind? And I make it just the 2 Nimrods completed by Retrotec so far (unless the Fury has flown?)

you are quite right, although the Shuttleworth Hind was grounded when i wrote that. the Fighter collection Nimrod is not currently flying either but hopefully will fly soon. The fury is very close although i am not sure when it will fly!

Other than that detail, a very nice website. Hopefully one day we'll see some more Hawker biplanes take to the skies as a result of this very significant recovery?

Out of interest, how many Romeos were recovered at the same time? I believe one is now in Spain?

error duly corrected thanks for pointing that out! Hopefully I can amend it to five in the near future! There were eight Romeos recovered. The one in Spain I recovered, the rest were recovered by the Italian military. I understand that there will be a collaboration between the two during the restoration. Work has already started in Italy. It's a shame that one is not being restored to fly the engines were in amazing condition considering how long they have been out in the open. When I removed the exhaust pipes oil ran out of the exhaust ring!
