Levitz P-38 "Double Trouble"

Wed May 19, 2010 9:23 pm

Anyone have a close-up, detail shot of the nose-art on Gary Levitz's old P-38 "Double Trouble" circa 1977 or so? It was a caricature of a rebel officer with a Confederate flag behind him.

I think the site was intended to furnish the picture that was used for the nose art on Gary's plane.

Okay, cool. So it looks like the "Rebel General" character is the same, but the flag on the nose art is more spread out behind him.

Fantastic, thank you!
