Some good friends of ours including 45th FS pilot Bill Brown did a trip similar to this about five years ago. They shot a lot of film that can be seen in the film here: http://www.leagueofgratefulsons.com/

It was also flown (primarily) by Lt. John E. Kester, Jr. of the Washington, D.C. and Maryland area.
