I have driven by there several times but never had the time to stop in.
Am heading down in December, but wife has indicated this is a "FAMILY" vacation without my museum sidetracks! I can see the car breaking down about there on a day trip if i plan it right!

According to the latest FoF newsletter, one of their current projects is they are working on a pair of DH-4 Bombers and several Liberty engines are being rebuilt to fit. One will get Air Corps scheme, one will get US Mail colors.

The B-24 was in the maintence hanger and the TBM was stripped and looked ready for paint.

What's the nose section beneath the B-25 wing? Looks vaguely Russian to me.....

TU-2 as mentioned on the caption beneath the photo. Glasses might help you!
