Hi everybody,
I was directed to this site because I was told this is where the experts are located. Could I please get some assistance identifying a part? Please see the link below. I believe the part came from a B-24. What is it?
Thank you so much for the assistance. Mac

Looks sort of like a seat rail with the tilt knob and acme screw and that could be Consolidateds shade of green primer-
Welcome to the madhouse pal, now you're in for it! We tend to keep drawing you back into the vortex by showing neat parts (like you have) and cool photos and videos, we may back bite a bit but nothing that leaves a mark for very long sit back and enjoy the floor show, I do!

Are those shock mounts on the one end? Looks like something rubber?

I agree that it looks like some kind of seat rail in Consolidated green, but I have nothing to confirm that with. Where did you find it?
Welcome aboard!

Doesn't look like anything in the "J"...I want to say that all B-24 parts start with a "32" number. Interestingly, last year while washing the top of Witchcraft I found the part numbers for the outer wing panels. The left outboard panel was originally stamped B-24D, crossed out, and restamped B-24J just above it.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the replies. I think the part might be from a B-24M. I was talking to an old Forest Service employee about a WWII wreck and he gave this item to me many years ago.
Yes, they look like (dried up) shock mounts on the end.
BTW, I thought the green looked like "aircraft green." You guys break it down to specific, Consolidated's shade of green primer - very impressive!
Thanks again for taking time to reply. Mac
