Spitfire Mk.21 at Kelvingrove Art Galleries, Glasgow.

I took my 2 and a half year old son to the art galleries today, and snapped a couple of pictures of the Spitfire. I know they are not of the best quality, but the lighting is bad, there is hardly any room (must be about an inch between the wingtips and the wall!) and I am not the worlds greatest photographer. I thought I would post them anyway, it must be the only Spitfire with a stuffed Giraffe underneath it's wings anyway!

If you want to use any of these pictures to update the registry Scott, you are very welcome.

Great post! What a beautiful place, and what a beautiful aircraft! Thanks much for sharing these. I LOVE the Spitfire, especially the later marks. It is indeed a great work of art.
P.S.
Good job with the kids too!

Looks like a really nice museum, with something for everyone. Great building obviously, and with art, natural history, and technology elements. Have they got dinosaurs too? Always nice to see warbirds displayed in places where "normal" people can run across them.

It is a lovely museum, and a beautiful building. Yes, there are dinosaurs, fossils, mummies the lot. I will do my best to try to teach my son a sense of history.

I managed to see this one in the Museum of Transport (Glasgow). I spent a good little while boring my then-girlfriend to tears about it!

And, before that, I saw it in bits at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune.
