Nice Day at Falcon Field

Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:02 pm

While at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ today, I had the opportunity to help Pooner do a left rudder removal on his PV-2. The weather was great, no rain with the temp in the low 60F range.

May the weather be this nice for the Hot Stuff team in their engine change.

Thanks for the thought Larry. 8 inches of snow from last Friday and more on the way tonight. At least for now the engine is in the shop, so maybe when it comes time to hang it we will warm up.

Hey Larry!
Did ja notice that the nose had changed from blue to red?? Would be great to see an original 8-gun nose back on the PV...Was in town Sat, but Denver had a shortage of dog food, so I couldn't hang around for the weekend....Gary
