Is there anyone with a TBM who has a ride program? I looked on the web and could not find one. I know the Collings Foundation has a TBM but it was not listed for rides.

I heard a rumor that there was a guy with one in Westerly, RI (KWST) that sold rides in a T-6 and was going to sell rides in the TBM. I have not seen the airplane, but I asked about it the other day when I was working on the other side of the field, I was confirmed to be there.

I don't know anything about them... but that doesn't say much as I have been in AZ for three years and away from New England. It's $1500 for a 30 minute flight (up to three people) and $2400 for an hour (up to three people).

As with any warbird ride or aircraft charter for that matter, make sure to do your homework and ask questions, check credentials and qualifications, and make sure to ask about safety, maintenance, and pilot training and experience. Do this before you pay anything or put your butt in the seat... because it's YOUR butt on the line and YOUR wallet in the end!

You're right, Jim. When I rode, I was at first disappointed that I wasn't able to sit 'up top'. But being in the belly was incredible. I loved every minute of it.

Ryan is bang on. Also make sure that any Experimental-Exhibition or Limited category aircraft offering flight experiences (ie. selling rides) has an exemption to do so. Collings, EAA, Yankee, CAF, POF, CFM, LSFM all do and I'm sure there are a few I missed.
