Warbirds and airshows

Im curious about warbirds at airshows . Do they get paid to attend ?
If they dont who pays for them to be kept in the air ?

It often depends. More often than not, it's a break-even situation at best for the lesser-known types. Some of the "better" planes - mainly "acts" will be paid to attend.
Airplanes like our little Liaison birds may get a fuel subsidy, but generally speaking, we're paying for them to keep flying!
