A note from Devil Dog Squadron(cool)

Thu Jan 07, 2010 7:10 pm

hi all,

A few weeks ago I made a really small inadequate donation toward the CAF's B-25 Devil Dog. Just checked my mailbox and was surprised to have found a large envelope marked "Devil Dog" and in it was a letter of appreciation for the donation and a high quality Certificate with my name and signed thanking for my donation! :o I am very touched for the trouble the CAF gone through to send this out to me. It was the nicest thing and I am really touched. :D Feeling humble as it is I just made another donation towards Devil Dog. :D

Thank you all at the CAF for the kindness! :D

Cheers,
Nathan :D

Hopefully they'll get their bird out of Oshkosh soon. They'll have to put skis on it the way things sound over there. My parents live in Oshkosh and my dad, who retired last june and i suggested he contact the squadron, has been lending them some assistance where he can when the crew has been up there. Sounds like the new engine is on it's way and work should be starting on getting it on within the next week or so.
