I'm generally not a fan of the F-100 but this particular example looks good. Thanks for the photo.

Is it possible to have a pulse and not like the Hun? Kind of like not liking fast cars and fast women.

I have been working on my own F-100 site for some time, but it still needs a good deal of work: http://www.angelfire.com/dc/jinxx1/Huns/Huns.html

The next time we visit relatives in Nebraska I will have to check that Hun out. Thanks for posting that shot!

There is this T-33 driver at our airport who says that for the time and effort required to maintain and fly sorties in a Super, he can fly at least double the amount in his T-33. I have few doubts he is right, but kinda like your mother telling you to stay away from that girl down the street with the great legs and short skirt - it just makes me want to buy the fuel for a ride someday all the more. :D

Wow, a rough crowd! I ask for forgivness during his holiday season. Of all the "century" fighters my favorite is the F-105. Will that help my status here?

Well being a Thud admirer does carry a lot of weight (just like the Thud). I can not think od any Republic aircraft that I do not like. But a Hun is still just a cool airplane and you might still have some penance to pay.

You must wax the pitot tube of the closest F-100 for one moth.

On the T-33/F-100 thing. Hard for me to believe you can fly the T-33 twice as much as the F-100 on the same resources. Now I can see you flying the T-33 10 times as much on the same resources.....

To me, I would think that F-100 would suck down maintenance hours as fast as it sucks down fuel in afterburner..... Of course I think the FUN FACTOR would be at least 10 times as much too

Mark,

At least twice as much :) yes, I am told that just launching the 100 is a bit of an ordeal compared to the T-33. But so what I agree - the fun factor is probably that much greater!

Happy holidays to all!
