I just watched the movie again about 10 months ago. I had picked up an original copy of the book so I kind of did them together which made both more interesting! I did the same thing with Band of Brothers two years ago........

Periodically re-read the Ballentine reprint and have the movie on VHS and watch it from time to time-love the scale model effects done for the bombing approach scenes, very high tech stuff for 1955, and the howl of the MERLINS on pull outs-HEY! I'm off from the 23rd until the 4th, I think I know what I'm gonna do with some of that time :wink: :drinkers: :wink:
