With the closing of Tempelhof, what is to become of the massive terminal building built during the Hitler era? Has any WIX'er ever been there?

I was there in 2008 before it closed. The terminal building is quite a sight to behold. As far as I know there are no permanent plans for the terminal, but I'm pretty sure its considered a historical building in Berlin. It is used now for trade shows and such and I think there is an attempt to turn it in to a museum.

Been there several times in the 1999-2000 time frame.
The approach was fun. The buildings were very close.
The first time I went there it didn't sink in. I just thought the terminal building structure was overly grand for what it was. After a while it dawned on me (never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed) and I started to picture it in the 1940's wartime era and it "looked" right.

1979 .... It is a cool place, we made our approach in a C-12 and made our descent on final between the apartments...it was interesting looking at the apartments while on approach. The Templhoff is a gas of a building.
